be re-opened for revision so that it can be modified for DD H/PC services.

Subject: Proposed Amendment to EVV Rule (5160-1-40)
As we have discussed in the past few stakeholder meetings, the EVV Rule (5160-1-40) is being revised effective July 2018. The changes made include the following:

Eliminate the 90 day exception to EVV requirements
·
Make an application that can be loaded on a device owned by the provider or direct care worker available at no cost to the provider, direct care worker
or individual
·
Reinstate language indicating that claims not matching verified visits will be denied.
(Please note that time is specifically excluded as a criteria that will be used in the matching logic.)
The draft rule is attached for your review. Please send me comments by the close of business on March 15, 2018.
