We do not link the two because if someone is asking for a rep payee than they need some assistance with finances and having the money go to their own personal spending account has resulted in challenges. We have always kept the two accounts separate.

Has anyone had success in setting up a rep Payee bank account that can be tied to an account the individual can have access to and put their monthly allowance into?
