It is my hope that the various agencies who are members of OPRA and also agencies who are not realize, how much OPRA benefitted each group by playing a strong role in this decision. It could save our members thousands of dollars in healthcare costs for 2014 and beyond.

This is AWSOME news!!  As you know, OPRA has been advocating for this throughout the year.  We participated in marches at the statehouse, petition drives, etc. We've written letters and made calls to our elected officials.  Now, many of our employees will not have to worry about deciding where they will find the money to buy food, clothing AND healthcare for themselves and their families.

The year 2013 has been a great year to be an OPRA member!  We prevailed during the state budget and received the first waiver rate increase since the inception of statewide rates in 2005!  We were instrumental in striking the "grand bargain" negotiated for ICF/DD's!  Now, we were successful in our advocacy of Medicaid expansion for our staff and their families!

It's a great time to be an OPRA member!  2014 promises to be another great year!  Together...WE are OPRA!!
