Hi Everyone,

I believe that even though we have a waiver or contract that does not negate the law. If one person is refusing to wear a seatbelt maybe that can be something the individuals team including someone from the behavior support team can offer suggestions and support for assisting the individual to become comfortable in a seatbelt. Just my 2 cents. Have a great day!

There are other ways of public transportation if they don’t like wearing a seatbelt or if public transportation isn’t available and your insurance policy says they have to I don’t go against the insurance policy. I want them to be covered if something should ever happen.

These people are being transported in our company cars... Sometimes it is for NMT, sometimes it is just for OOD services where that transportation cost is built into the full fee to provide the service.

I'm thinking a waiver or something would need to be signed saying they recognize the risk, but I thought I would bring it up to everyone to see what their thoughts are :)
