Individuals have the right to refuse using a seatbelts, and providers have the right to provide services to, or not or not provide services to, individuals who refuse to use seatbelts. Of course we would hope this is not the case and that we as support staff have their best interest in mind and would explain the natural consequences of such a decision. As I mentioned before you can create a company policy that states that seat belts are required for everyone (staff and individuals served) in vehicles that are not owned by the individual.
