Hello fellow OPRA members. I have a situation regarding OSOC in a 24 hour 5 bed licensed home where the ssa is claiming she can no longer authorize awake staff at night. This coming only after one of the individuals had to move into a nursing home and it put the other folks into prior auth. In my opinion none of the remaining individuals services have changed so why should their awake staff get cut?! If any of you have had any success with negotiation on this or would like to chime in I could certainly use the knowledge. I have talked with a few other providers and they seem to agree.
