We don't yet have an answer to your question. We have some internal ideas but I think this deserves input and collaboration from all willing system stakeholders. We will be discussing our statewide DSP marketing campaign at the meeting Anita is planning.

We will invite County Boards, COGs, DD Council and others if they wish to join.

In just a moment  Christine from our office will share with all of you our two 30 second TV spots tailored at DSP recruitment. These are still in editable form but you can get a sense of our theme and start to think on how we as a system might use them!

We are excited about this effort and would love to have all who are interested join us.

With the marketing materials near completion, have there been any efforts made to determine where DSP applicants will be directed to since not all providers can be listed in the materials? Hi everyone.

I am working with our HR Committee Chair (Patty Schlosser) and our Workforce Committee Chair (Lisa Reed) to schedule a date in July to have this discussion. We have information to share about the progress on the workforce retention grant in Toledo, we will have the DSP commercials and written marketing materials to share as well as HR professionals to discuss tips and processes that have proven successful.

At this point, we are looking at July 18 or 20. I will let you know when it is finalized. All are welcome to attend.

We have staffing problems, but they are not retention problems. Our agency is a little larger than yours, but we do have low turnover. Our largest issue lies in recruiting appropriate caring staff.

We are on verge of losing 2 more: same thing: interpersonal relationships.

           *   It makes me wonder if we should be doing something (I have no idea WHAT) to be solving THIS problem!!!!
