a clarification, both of those sentences are intended to
state the same thing. If the vehicle is designed to
transport 8 people or more, including the driver, and you
are
paid for the transport, the vehicle is considered a CMV.

There still seems to be an
inconsistency in this briefing. The top part says “A CMV
is any of the following:
Vehicles designed or used to transport more than
8 passengers including the driver for compensation”
and the paragraph below states:
“As outlined above, if a vehicle
is designed to transport 8 passengers or more, and
the Provider will be paid for the transport, that vehicle
qualifies as a CMV.”
The top says more than 8, the bottoms
says 8 or more. So is it 8 including the driver or more than
8?
