Good Morning OPRA Members,

I hope this email finds you well! We are finally ready to start collecting information for our 2022 Salary Survey.

Based on member feedback, major modifications have been made to the previous surveys. Among the changes are the following:

*         Length and scope of the survey

*         Major focus on Direct Care Staff

*         Bonuses paid to staff in response to working during COVID

*         Several sections of previous surveys have been removed

*         It will take considerably less time to complete this year's survey

By making these changes, we hope to gain a better understanding of the impact on COVID and the subsequent workforce emergency on providing direct care services. The results of the 2022 survey will be used in multiple ways including OPRA's lobbying efforts and education initiatives with legislators and other policymakers. The results can also be used for internal benchmarking of pay and turnover for OPRA Members.
Attached you will find a short PowerPoint I shared with the HR Committee a few weeks ago about some of the changes we made to the survey and that explains differences between our survey and the Department's wage verification survey.

For our survey, please use the attached Excel workbook. Enter all the relevant information directly into the workbook and then send the completed workbook to info@barry-online.com<mailto:info@barry-online.com> The due date for the attached survey is May 20, 2022.

As always, participating members will receive a complimentary copy of this year's final report.
