We are at a critical point already of needing new staff trained in med administration and not having anyone available to train them. We had a class scheduled for Monday and Tuesday however our nurse is now sick and won’t be able to train any further classes for at least several weeks. We can not go without any new classes as we are already having staff call off sick. We serve 155 individuals and normally do two trainings per month. What are our options? Does the state realize that if we lose a large percentage of our work force and are unable to train any new staff that we will be unable to provide the needed services. Please let me know if there’s anyway one of my administrators could train med administration and then once this is over we can retain them. Please advice. Thank you.
