We will do the same thing. All of your employees should have the same employment compliance for day program and residential; which is transferable. Double check. This would be a reassignment to a new area or position. Therefore, you will need to ensure that the employee meets the minimum requirements of the new position that they are re-assigned to (i.e. DSP) and have the necessary orientation and training to function in the new role.

Hello-

One of our thoughts if day programs close is to contract with the day center workers to cover shifts at our sites.  Does anyone know what I would need from an HR standpoint to make sure we are compliant.  For example background checks, drug tests etc.  could we use their current docs from their employer?

Any insight would be great.
