Rule relief may be key, if we need to get new staff in quickly.  Additionally, annual training may be difficult as we try to stay staffed and also to reduce large group activities.

Hi all,

I just met all morning with my management staff to come up with a contingency emergency plan for my agency in case we are faced with sick clients and sick staff.  It was a tuff exercise for sure.  I’m certain that the rest of you have done this or are starting to do it, but if not, I just want to urge you to spend some time thinking about the “what if’s” and how you will respond.

Pete is in ongoing talks with the Department and other agencies to get out information,  in particular identifying if any rule relief can be expected if the worst scenarios hit.  More information to come.

Planning for a crises is hard, but very necessary.
