We have a grief counseling support team.  It includes our Social Workers and several staff who have experience (two licensed ministers, an artist, etc.).  They visit the home and meet with staff and the other individuals.  They help the staff and peers plan and participate in memorial services.  They have done group art projects, balloon releases, and other activities to help everyone work through their grief.  The team has also worked with folks when long time staff leave, individuals move out and other major life events.  It has been a very positive experience!
