Happy Friday everyone!

The Mission, Vision and Value Committee of the OPRA Board has set in process an ambitious and vital process to reach out to members to get feedback that will be used to create our strategic plan in the fall.  This strategic plan will develop a new Mission, Vision and Value statement for OPRA.  In addition, we will develop strategic goals to lead us all into the future.

We have hired Jim Yunker from the Yunker Group to help us reach out to staff, members and system partners to gather the vital information to assist the OPRA Board with this strategic process. So, if you are contacted by the Yunker Group over the next few months, this is what it is about.  If you are contacted, please give your honest and comprehensive opinions and insight.  We want our strategic process to include as much information and feedback from members as possible.  That is our goal.

Mr. Michael Malone is heading the Mission, Vision and Value Committee and I thank the entire committee for their work.

PS:  Than Johnson has gone above and beyond handling OPRA’s efforts on the state budget.
