Hi OPRA Members,

If time allows, take a few minutes on this rainy day (snowy for those of you in northern Ohio), to view the below video. This will likely change the way we deliver services someday. So many possibilities!

Your success in life isn't based on your ability to simply change. It is based on your ability to change faster than your competition, customers, and business.

Wearables to Invisibles

Ok, I stole that title from Emerald who has developed a non-contact sensor that can capture loads of data without having to strap something on someone.

This can be used to track sleep patterns, heart rate, respiratory rate, movement through a home, falls, and more.  Think of it as advanced non-invasive radar in the home that uses machine learning to track all sorts of things.

Is this the future of remote supports, fall detection, disease management, tracking of activities of daily living, and teleportation (just kidding on the last one)?  :)

Dose Health - Peace of Mind with a Smarter Pillbox

We all know how important it is to take medications as prescribed. So why can it be so difficult for us to take our pills day in and day out?

Because we are human.

In an already busy day, remembering to take your pills is one of the easiest things to forget. That's why Dose Health was created. They believe that taking medications every day shouldn't get in the way of someone's independence.
