Subject: Delay in EVV Edits
Good morning,
After considering provider feedback and reviewing early results of EVV related edits, ODM has decided to modify the Phase 1 edits.
Currently a match between visit data and claims data is only found when the units on the claim and the units recorded with EVV match exactly. We are currently working with Sandata to modify the edit so that
a match will be found whenever the units recorded in EVV are equal to or greater than the units recorded on the claim. As a result of this change, we will not begin to deny claims for dates of service on and after November 15, 2018.
