Hello OPRA Members,
For those of you who provide NMT or HPC, as you already know, DODD is currently reviewing a transportation proposal that was developed by a DODD assigned group of county boards and providers.
See below for further clarification based on member questions & updates on the proposal. I have also attached the proposal for your convenience.
·
When using the proposed
PER TRIP rate, providers will only be able to bill the “add on” ($10.19)
for the person(s) needing a modified vehicle.
·
When using the proposed
PER MILE rate (for ADS/Vochab trips into the community and all HPC transportation), providers will bill the per unit or daily service rate, plus the per mile rate. If any one person in the vehicle needs a modified vehicle, the provider can
bill the higher modified per mile rate for everyone in the vehicle.
·
DODD plans to compete their fiscal analysis of the proposal by the end of July, 2018.
Let me know if you have any questions,
