Hi everyone. We are a little shy of the participant goal. We have not yet met the 2016 number and are hoping to do a little better in 2018. The HR Committee met
yesterday and decided to extend the deadline one last time to March 30. If you have not yet completed this, please do so. Respondents say it is taking about 3 hours on average. Remember, we split the survey into 2 distinct parts this year in an effort to
cut down on your time. This survey provides OPRA and its members very valuable information that can be used in benchmarking and in legislative efforts.
We appreciate your participation! Participating agencies will receive a complimentary copy.

Hi everyone. It’s that time again! Below are instructions for our 2018 salary survey. Please note that we will send out the Benefits portion during the summer.
By cutting down the time it takes to complete this , we hope to significantly increase the response rate. Please select one person from you agency to be “in charge” of this. We ask that you have this back by February 28th. Don’t hesitate to contact

The 2018 Compensation and Benefits Survey follows. Please review the instructions

feedback, some modifications have been made to the previous surveys including: 1.
Dividing the survey into two parts and distributing to members at two separate times during the year (February for the Salary Section and July for the Benefits Section) in hopes of
improving Response rates by minimizing labor requirements for completing the survey. 2.
Shortening the survey as appropriate to ensure members and OPRA have access to needed salary and benefits information. |

Prior surveys have been well received by our members. The results of the 2018 survey |

will be used in multiple ways including OPRA's lobbying and education initiatives with |

legislators and state departments and your organization's internal benchmarking of |

of pay, benefits and turnover with other OPRA members.

Issues of salaries/pay rates, employee turnover and recruitment remain critical, in

light of Ohio’s downsizing and system re-alignment efforts. Therefore, we encourage |
