Just wanted to draw your attention to these two supervisory classes and a great opportunity for your supervisory team.  The location is Xenia and if you can make it I think the trip is well worth it.  See it as a supervisor group team building retreat! The location is lovely at our partner agency Towards Independence, with a ‘bistro’ and coffee shop in the main level of the building. You can grab lunch there between the two classes. The cost for lunch is $6 and the food is great. (Check the bistro out here). There is a strong philosophy at the bistro on community development – so people who can’t pay for their food can work for it.  Or people who can pay have the opportunity to ‘pay it forward’.  People with and without developmental disabilities are employed there. Very dynamic environment and a great place to reconnect as a supervisory team and network with others from across Ohio who share your mission.  The instructors for the two classes are people with long experience in our field and a very active and engaging style.
