Fellow OPRA members,

Consider this simply another vent from member Bev Brubaker  . . . . but does anyone else here on the OPRA listserve feel that the regulations NEVER end????    Just when we feel we are “keeping up” with all the regulations, seems new and more restrictive ones appear.

So, again, this is just a question whether anyone else her feels this way????   Or, maybe it really is just me, an 67 year old fart who has been around too long and needs to get out of the way?!?!?!!?!?

Subject: Updated Member Briefing Regarding Non-Medical Transportation

Attached is an Updated OPRA member briefing regarding Non-Medical Transportation, Commercial Motor Vehicles, Drivers and Provider Responsibilities.

Since the last briefing, the requirements for medical examinations of drivers have changed, and commercial motor vehicle drivers are now required to have a Department of Transportation Physical as outlined in the briefing.

Since the subject of commercial motor vehicles is complex, and often raises questions among our members, this revised briefing takes a deeper dive into the requirements that you have to meet as an employer of drivers of commercial motor vehicles.
