We have partnered with a company named GMS, Group Management Services Inc.

We are in a “shared employee” pool and therefor assume savings on our WC premiums.

They also act as our payroll and Human Resource department for a fee of payroll volume.

Subject: Workers compensation self-insured plans

Good afternoon –

We are currently evaluating the pros and cons of leaving the state workers compensation program and going to a self-insured plan. Our hope is to get some feedback from other providers who have already done this to see if it’s something feasible for us. We are in the process of evaluating the risks of this decision and hope the feedback we receive can help us identify any risks that we’ve overlooked. We appreciate your comments!

Thank you!
