The November policy meeting is being cancelled as we reviewed the MUI proposed rule changes, ICF updates, and DSPOhio at the Fall Conference last week.   We are continuing to participate in the priority issues workgroups with DODD for MUI/UI rule and process, Provider Compliance, and all Reimbursement groups. 

 

We will have a policy meeting on December 18^th, 2017 from 10a-2pm.  We would love to see everyone in person for this meeting as we will be designing the Policy Committee schedule, priorities, and proactive processes to encourage member-driven, candid feedback for our system partners regarding rule/regulation/policy changes.

 

Tentative agenda:

1.      Proposed changes and updates-MUI/UI; Provider Compliance; ICF Reimbursement

2.      Emergency Preparedness

3.      Discussion-OSOC approach

4.      Group Planning activity for OPRA Policy Committee for 2018

a.      create member resource on website of cheat sheets for rules/regulations

b.      shared policies and standard operating procedures

c.       Rules up for review-feedback

d.      Joint training opportunities-DODD, Counties, Providers, Family/Guardian and advocates

e.      Frequency of meetings

 

A formal agenda will be sent out prior to meeting.
