free Bridges Out of Poverty training sessions being held in Marietta. These trainings are funded through a grant with the Washington County Family and Children First Council. We are very appreciative that OPRA members have been invited to participate.
Thanks to Stephen MacDonald of the Lucas County FCFC for coordinating this opportunity. Please know that there are a limited number of spaces available, so participation is on a first come/first served basis.
Bridges Out of Poverty is a major component of the Healthier Buckeye (Workforce) Grant that is currently underway in Lucas county. The training focuses on poverty and its effects on family, work and social structures
and gives participants an alternative way to think about poverty’s impact on the workforce. This training has received excellent reviews and has been requested by OPRA members from all regions of the state.
We are in the process of scheduling regional Bridges Out of Poverty sessions, so watch your email for additional opportunities. Registration information is above and below.
