Initial Provider Certification
1/10/17 - Delaware County Board of DD


The 8hr OADSP Provider Certification enables the provider to deliver Medicaid Waiver Services under the Level One and Individual Options Waivers, as well as non-Medicaid funded services. All providers of direct services must complete eight hours of training in 5 pecific topics prior to applying for certification.   

 

 

 

 

Annual Provider Certification

This class is for providers who are already certified with the Ohio Department of DD and need to renew their certification. This training builds on the foundations of the Initial Provider certification class.  

 

 

 

 

 OADSP/DODD Training Development Part 1

DODD and OADSP have partnered, to offer free of charge, a series of development trainings. Topics are based on recommendations from people served, families, guardians, DSPs, and other stakeholders. 

 

Attendance: You can attend all day (5 hours) or you can select which topics/hours that fit your schedule.  

 

10-11am: DSP as a Leader

11-12pm: Soft Skills: Communication, Respect & Ethics

12-1pm: LUNCH

1-2pm: Helping people find their passion

2-3pm: Community Involvement/Community resources

3-4pm: Home/Work life balance

DODD and OADSP have partnered, to offer free of charge, a series of development trainings. Topics are based on recommendations from people served, families, guardians, DSPs, and other stakeholders. 

 

Attendance: You can attend all day (5 hours) or you can select which topics/hours that fit your schedule.  

 

10-11am: Working with Families & Guardians

11-12pm: Teamwork

12-1pm: LUNCH

1-2pm: Transitioning from DSP to Supervisor

2-3pm: Supervising Remote locations - Best practice in supervising remote locations

3-4pm: Supervising Remote locations - Instilling a sense of leadership and trust in DSPs
