Good morning everyone.

DSP Recognition Week has begun!  We are thankful for the work done by Ohio’s direct support professionals.  Let’s all stop and thank our DSP’s for their loving, compassionate and competent work that is done every day for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Governor Kasich has proclaimed this as Ohio Direct Support Professional Recognition Week.  I will present the governor’s proclamation to DSP’s at the OADSP DSP recognition event on Wednesday.  We are grateful for the governor’s recognition of the value of DSP’s and his support of our workforce.
