So, what if the new waiver start date is out of the same "program year"? Say the disenrollment date was 5/1/16 and the new enrollment date was 9/1/16. This doesn't really say what happens if it is out of the same program year. Do they get put on the waiting list for a new waiver?? What happens? We regularly have folks who require more than 90 days in the hospital or rehab facility, then return home. Will local county boards be expected to pick-up the services with supported living funds until the person is re-enrolled in a waiver?

Please note that after 90 days, the individual will be dis-enrolled. However, there is a process by which the waiver can be held and re-slotted to the person as long as the waiver span does not cross program years.

This was sent to county boards and the OACBDD is working with counties to understand the particulars.
