Hello all:

We have had some questions and confusion about DODD’s provider surveys concerning the 6% rate increase and the NCI Adult Consumer Satisfaction Survey. Below is an attempt to add some clarification and assistance. Please do not hesitate to contact me with further questions. Thank you.

NCI Staff Stability Survey

You should have received a unique link via email to the NCI Staff Stability Survey. The Staff Stability Survey is designed to capture data on your direct support professionals (DSP’s) wages, benefits, turnover, vacancy, etc., and ultimately provide information to DODD on how the 6% rate increase for waiver providers was passed along to DSPs. The survey was sent to waiver and ICF providers. If an agency provides both waiver services and ICF services the agency should have received two separate emails that included a unique link: one for waiver services and the other for ICF services. The provider should fill out the survey accordingly. In addition to the attempt to provide verification of how the 6% was distributed, DODD is looking for comparative staff stability data between waiver and ICF services. The deadline for response is June 30th, 2016.

NCI Adult Consumer Survey

This is the eighth year of DODD’s participation in the National Core Indicators Adult Consumer Survey. This survey is designed to capture individual satisfaction with services & assists DODD with making system refinements. This is the survey that is conducted face to face with the individuals randomly selected by DODD. This year DODD has contracted with the OSU Nisonger Center to administer the survey process. The attached letter from Director Martin explains this year’s approach. There have been requests sent from Nisonger to nearly 150 providers to assist them in completing the pre-survey & background sections of the survey. These sections need completed by the provider in order for the interviewer to be able to schedule an interview time with the individual selected to participate.
