Good afternoon, Jeff:

OACB is conducting a survey of our membership to assemble a statewide database of specialized risk assessors for people with DD. Risk assessors who are qualified to work with adults/children with DD and assess risk for sexual offense, arson, and suicide are quite rare in Ohio. Our thinking is that by assembling a list, we can help all of Ohio's DD professionals (at boards and provider agencies) who need specialized assessments performed.

To be clear, we are looking to list all qualified assessors regardless of what organizations they work for, and we'd like for our database to be as comprehensive as possible. To that end, we're hoping that OPRA might be interested in helping us spread the word about our survey.

If you sent this survey to your members, we'd be happy to share the final results of the survey with you and your membership. And if any of your members happen to provide such assessments, this will get their names and contact information in front of county boards seeking those services. To my thinking, it's a win-win.

This is the link to our survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/DDriskassessors

The survey deadline is close of business on March 11. If OPRA is interested in taking part, please me know.

Best,
