The deadline for Annual Awards nominations is TOMORROW!
Please have your nominations submitted via the form by EOB, 9/24!

Since 1991, OPRA has annually recognized individuals and teams from Provider Members that have demonstrated outstanding service and achievement in the DD field, and whose work has significantly impacted the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. One of the most coveted honors is the Maureen Corcoran Award, co-sponsored by OADSP and OPRA. This award goes to a PATHS-credentialed Direct Support Professional who demonstrates the competencies of the Community Support Skill Standards, upholds the NADSP Code of Ethics through his/her daily interactions with people with disabilities, and exhibits exemplary professionalism in all aspects of his/her job. In addition to the high-level profession recognition, the Maureen Corcoran Award winner receives a certificate plaque, a color portrait from the Annual Awards Luncheon, and a significant gift card prize.

The Annual Awards Luncheon is November 4, the second day of the 2015 Fall Conference. Award winners are selected from a large pool of nominees submitted by Provider Members from every corner of Ohio, and the Awards Committee encourages all Provider Members to review the 2015 Awards’ descriptions, and to consider nominees, for the Maureen Corcoran Award and OPRA’s other award categories. If you’re ready to nominate, head here for more information, and to submit your details! Nominations are due by Thursday, September 24. Interested in knowing who’s won in the past? Ready to submit a nomination?

Congratulations to all winners from previous years – and best wishes to this year’s nominees!
