We typically get rid of anything 7 years or older. We do pull out any pertinent information that is worth keeping and keep that in a smaller file.

We have some record retention guidance on financial papers and employer paperwork, but cannot find information on resident records. I am asking if anyone can direct me to how long we should keep current resident records (medical, flow charts, seizure logs, ISPs, etc) i.e. 3 years, 7 years, forever, past resident records, and residents that have passed away.
