OPRA ANNOUNCES NEW NURSING COMMITTEE

Delegation…MAIS…the addition of Nursing Services to HCBS waivers…new Nursing Quality Assurance process…training - there is a lot going on in the DD nursing field. In order to ensure that OPRA members have a strong voice in the development of the rules and procedures that impact service delivery, OPRA has formed a Nursing Committee.
Who: This Committee is open to all OPRA Members
When: Wednesday, February 4, 10am – 1pm
Where: OPRA Training Center, 1152 Goodale Blvd, Columbus, 43212
Our initial meeting will focus on the organization and priorities of the Committee. Please bring your questions, issues and training ideas. We need your input in order to advocate for you in the most effective manner. We will also be providing an update on the status of DODD’s revision of the Nursing QA process.
Please RSVP to Vice President Anita Allen so that we ensure adequate seating. Park for free in the OPRA lot on the east side of the building; behind the building, either up against it or across the alley; and on Goodale or the side streets. Do NOT park in the Guardian Water & Power lot to the west of OPRA. There will be video conferencing available for this meeting. If you would prefer this option, let Anita know. We will need your email address in order to send you the participant information.
