Feds Ease Privacy for Business Associates, too Feds Ease Privacy for Business Associates, Too The U.S. Office for Civil Rights (OCR) has extended relaxed privacy provisions to Business Associates, relating to disclosures of health information.
The standard is clear: Exercise professional judgment in good faith, and there will be no penalties for violations under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). |
