Good Morning-
Earlier today I sent a link to the FAQ developed by DODD regarding the closing of adult day centers. Since sending out this guidance a few hours ago, it has been updated by DODD, including an important clarification pertaining to a question from
this morning’s call. Please see the updated text below (the update in bold);
"A provider should not establish separate spaces within their facility for groups of 10 people to operate, without each confined space having access to separate entrances, bathrooms and assigned staff. Providers need to use sound
judgment to comply with the ten-person rule and to restrict exposure to those who are not staffed to support them.”
This updated guidance means that a provider could potentially set up separate service locations within a facility, but they must have their own entrance/exit, restrooms and staff. I hope you find this information useful when planning for next
