Hi Kyong-

I don't believe the rules have been loosened for background checks --- outside of non-traditional staff. OPRA can certainly correct me, but DODD stated waiver providers who choose to utilize non-traditional staff in direct support positions must initiate appropriate background checks, driver’s abstract (if driving), and the required registry checks, but may place the staff person on the schedule immediately. RAPBACK is not required unless the staff person maintains a direct support position after June 1, 2020.

Regarding community providers of Webcheck services, you can search the Ohio AG's website for your area to see if there is help out there.

Hello,
How are you getting BCI/FBI checks done since the sheriffs office are not doing them right now and the bmv is closed. Is there anywhere else that is doing this or has there been changes to the rules for this?

Thank you,
