Good afternoon,

I hope you are doing well today.

Attached is the Ohio Department of Health’s Director’s Order to Prohibit Adult Day Support or Vocational Habilitation Services in a Congregate Setting.

We have been anticipating and discussing this order during the past week.  Here are a few key points:

·        The order is set to be implemented starting at 9PM on Tuesday, March 24th.

·        It defines a congregate setting as a single location where more than 10 people congregate in a confined space.

·        It does not prohibit the delivery of day services.

As we have said for the past several days,  It is important that we keep Day Service Staff engaged and interacting with the people you serve.  The OPRA Team will analyze this order and work to ensure you have all of the information and support you need to implement it.

We are planning a members call on Monday morning at 8:30AM to discuss this order and other issues relevant to the Coronavirus and how it is impacting your communities.
