Good Afternoon,

On yesterday’s Member Call, I mentioned a third Coronavirus bill that was introduced by Senate Republicans called the CARES Act. Our national partners are ANCOR have alerted us that they are hearing that Senate Democrats are currently in negotiations on their response to the proposal and could finish up later today.

Our Democratic member of the Senate- Sherrod Brown- needs to hear from advocates about the need to include I/DD funding in the third-round relief package. The Senate expects to move forward at 5 pm EDT. We are sharing ANCOR’s quick action tool for you to easily submit comments to his office.
