Subject: OADSP Announces FREE Abbreviated DSP Training Curriculum for Providers to Utilize During the Public Health Crisis Caused by COVID-19
Good Morning,
OADSP is pleased to share a FREE abbreviated DSP training curriculum developed in accordance with DODD's recent guidance that can be used to quickly onboard new
staff during the public health crisis caused by COVID-19. This information is intended to be widely distributed to all providers. OADSP encourages each provider to include their own agency specific information with regard to reporting incidents, along with
other agency and client specific information.
The training curriculum can be found on the special "DSP Abbreviated Training" tab at
www.oadsp.org. Direct link available
HERE.
Additionally, OADSP has published a recorded webinar-style version of this training. The video is available on the "Abbreviated DSP Training" tab (HERE).
Look for it under the heading, "DSP Abbreviated Training Webinar". Please be sure to provide participants with the supplemental materials that accompany the video, found below the video link. *This video may also be used in whole or part to refresh current
DSPs on MUIs, UIs, and/or Universal Precautions.
OADSP is encouraged by the strength being demonstrated by providers and system partners, and is proud to be a part of this community. We look forward to reflecting
on this time, and using what we all learn to strategize for the future.
Best Regards,
Bethany
