We will be using the guidelines from the CDC to consider if we should cancel any planned large gatherings
Some of our employees have job roles/tasks that can be accomplished by working from home. Supervisors are reviewing with their staff to see if that is feasible with their guidance .
We are putting up signs at our offices and asking home managers to request all staff when entering the homes or office to first go wash their hands upon entry. Also we are taking more extreme measures to clean common areas more frequently.
Obviously if any staff are experiencing cough, fever, breathing difficulty they are expected to stay home.
There are some folks who we serve who are more at risk of serious consequences if they get the virus, (those who are older, those with other serious medical issues, asthma, cancer, etc) . We are going to take a much closer look at them and individually determine if we should make the recommendations to them to avoid community activity for a while (such as attending day programs, recreational events, etc) This will be tricky and has a lot of issues attached with it!
In all of this I am very concerned about the many changes in client service plans/schedules and meeting all the compliance expectations for services.

We understand that this is a quickly evolving reality and we will need to adjust as we go.

We were also wondering if it will be okay to be able to move clients to one location if a lot of our staff find themselves in a situation were they can't come to work because of being sick.    We just don't know if it will be something allow by the state laws.
