In an effort to further understand the impact of our current workforce challenges I am forwarding a survey that ANCOR developed.  We are asking that you click on the link in the forwarded email and take a few minutes to complete the survey.  The information you provide will be combined with information from hundreds of providers from across the country. 

 

The results of this survey will help us in our advocacy efforts as we explain the impact of the workforce crisis to our legislative partners.

DSP Workforce Survey: An Update and a Request

Dear ANCOR members,

First, allow me to express my gratitude to the 565+ of you who have already completed the DSP Workforce Survey I wrote to you about last week. We have been overwhelmed by the response, and the data confirms exactly why there has been such high interest in sharing your perspectives: this problem is a crisis of proportions beyond what we ever anticipated.

Given that the responses still continue to pour in, I'm writing to share that we've extended the deadline and to make an ask: will you please complete the survey if you haven't already, and encourage as many provider organizations to do the same, no later than next Friday, March 6?

We're extending the deadline for a couple of reasons. First, the overwhelming response means we will be able to drill down to the state level in some states and have statistically significant data; therefore, we want to make sure we don't just have a lot of respondents, but a lot of respondents in as many states as possible. Second, the data are revealing that we have much work to do, and because our findings will have a lasting impact-for the families who rely on us, for the bills we're shepherding in Congress and for our broader legislative strategy-it was important to ANCOR staff that we give more time to people who are eager to share their feedback but don't have time today.

Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey and share it with colleagues in other organizations - we appreciate it!
