PAID TIME OFF ("PTO") AND UNPAID TIME OFF BENEFITS
Ability Works believes that adequate time must be provided to employees annually for rest and relaxation and to accommodate circumstances beyond the employee's
control (i.e., illness, disability, bereavement, etc.). All employees are encouraged to take their full allotment of paid time off each year. Unpaid leave cannot be taken until available paid leave is exhausted.
Employees may carry over unused time pursuant to the following guidelines on their anniversary:

Employees must submit a PTO Banking or Pay out Form one week before their anniversary date.

Hi,
I have a question, We are trying to revamp our vacation policy. The problem is we never had a cap on vacation and allowed for employees to carry over a lot of vacation hours (400+). We also have a system where employees can buy-back some
of their vacation hours, if needed. Does anyone have a really good vacation policy that may have the buy-back program as part of it? Or does anyone think that they have a really good vacation policy that they would be willing to share? Any help is appreciated.
