This doesn’t meet all of the trainings you listed below, but we have all staff complete the Ohio Employment First Professional Development Course as part of onboarding. Between the initial course and the follow-up 3 web courses, much of
the below topics you listed are covered. It is also available for free.

Additionally, we have all staff register accounts with mylearning.DODD.ohio.gov to be able to complete the courses offered (for free) on their website. These include the 8-hour provider Training, Health and Welfare Alerts, and Orientation
for Providers.
We do other in-service trainings but these two websites have readily available trainings that cover many of the requirements.

Subject: Listserv question
I would like to seek your input. I am curious if anyone would share a training, webinar, video, etc. that they use to satisfy the 8 hour training that is required (no later than one year after hire) for the new hires who do not have at
least 1 year of experience. In particular, I am looking for what trainings you use to address skill building in vocational assessment, ongoing job supports, task analysis, job-seeking skills, on-the-job instruction and support, developing natural supports,
identifying community resources, personal adjustment, work adjustment, and vocational planning. Also, trainings for skill building in advancement of individuals on the path to community employment as described in rule 5123:2-2-05 of the Administrative Code
and development of individuals' strengths and skills necessary for competitive integrated employment. And finally trainings that address skill building in the necessary activities and environments that build on the individual's strengths and foster the development
of skills that lead to greater independence, community membership, relationship-building, and self-direction. I am curious if there is a tool that we can use that better addresses our needs than what we are currently using. Does anyone have any recommendations?
I would appreciate your help.
