Good Day OPRA Members,

 

We here at OPRA would like to thank you again for your OPRA membership.  As members, we would like to extend a personal invitation to you and/or anyone from your staff to attend a Member Orientation on Wednesday, October 23^rd from 5p-6:30p at the Nationwide Conference Center, 100 Green Meadow Drive, Lewis Center OH. 

 

This gathering is intended to give an overview of benefits for being an OPRA Member and to deepen your knowledge of various partnerships OPRA has developed.  These partnerships offer our members practical and philosophical guidance on issues and needs from day-to-day operations. You’ll have a chance to meet and network with other OPRA Members, the OPRA Staff and learn more about what OPRA can do for you.  This is a small way of showing our appreciation, and it gives us the opportunity to get to know you and your organization better. Whether you are a new OPRA Member or a long-time OPRA Member, we invite you to join us to learn how to get the most out of your OPRA Membership!

 

Registration for the Member Orientation is quick and easy… Just send me an email at ssummers@opra.org with your intent to participate and who’s coming from your agency (name, title and email address).  The deadline to RSVP is Friday, October 18^th.

 

However, we do understand that these are busy times in the I/DD field and if for some reason you are unable to attend, we would like to make sure that you are taking full advantage of your OPRA benefits.  Below are just a few things to keep in mind:

 

• Get involved today!  One way you can become actively involved is by joining a committee or workgroup.  We have many to choose from and there’s bound to be at least one that would be of interest to you and your staff.  Please visit https://www.opra.org/membership/opra-committees/ to learn more about the available committees and who to contact to get on the corresponding committee listserv. 

 

• Educational opportunities are available year round!  We offer Bi-annual Conferences (Accountancy, BELTSS, CESP, DODD, HRCI, SHRM & Social Work CEUs are available), ADVANCE Leadership Training, Supervisor training, HIPAA Compliance, Waiver Billing and ICF Reimbursement trainings just to name a few.
