Hello Everyone,
I hope you are well.
I am forwarding a letter from the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities Director Jeff Davis. In his letter to the DD field Director Davis outlines the implementation of the HPC reimbursement rate for
Direct Support Professional wages.
Please share this letter with your staff and other local stakeholders in an effort to clarify the implementation timelines and who will be impacted.
In his letter Director Davis mentions the work being done to collect data that will confirm the rates will be applied to DSPs. OPRA representatives are playing an active role in establishing this process and
advocating on the behalf on our members to ensure the process accurately reflects your efforts. We will keep you updated as the development of the reporting mechanism progresses.
Thank you and have a great day!
