Hello Bev and Everyone,

I hope your day is going well.

The 100/0 principle is something that we incorporated into Good Life Network curriculum that Willie Jones and I developed several years ago.  The concept applied well to our learning experiences because the concept focuses on relationships.  The concept means if you give 100% positive effort to a relationship and expect nothing (0) in return then the other person will eventually reciprocate that effort.

I apply this concept daily (or at least strive to) in all my personal and professional relationships.   My application of this principle includes staying positive and calm, when I am able to do this I am able to be open to the other person and their mood and perspectives.  I can only control by own behavior and reactions and hopefully influence the other person respond in a positive way.

Hope this helps.

Have a great day and weekend!

No, this is not an ad.   I was just reviewing my notes from the July 19, 2019, OPRA meeting for District 2.

I had made a note to “google the 100-0 principle.”  Most of what I am finding relates to a belief system:

“The 100/0 Principle is an inspirational book that will help guide you to develop more effective and meaningful relationships with your family, friends, coworkers, and boss.”

I am curious if anyone here is familiar with this principle, especially how it relates to a business.
