Happy Friday OPRA Members!

 

OPRA will be hosting its Annual Awards Luncheon at the Fall Conference on Friday, October 25th to honor dedicated service professionals, groups and volunteers who have made outstanding contributions to help support individuals with developmental disabilities.  There are so many dedicated employees and volunteers who serve in our industry, and the Annual Awards Luncheon is a good way that OPRA recognize and celebrate those efforts.  We encourage all agencies to submit nominations, and to represent their respective OPRA Districts.

 

Beginning this year, we will be awarding the Behind the Scenes Staff, DSP and Frontline Supervisor Awards on a regional basis.  This means a nominee from each of the eight OPRA Districts will be awarded individually in each of the above mentioned categories.  All other awards will be limited to one recipient in each category.

 

OPRA continuously strives to enhance our Annual Awards Ceremony at the Fall Conference to make it a better experience for the attendees, a more meaningful experience to the award recipients, and your feedback influenced these changes.

 

To get full member representation, we are asking that you nominate one person for each of the award categories.  If you do not have a nominee for each category, that’s okay too.  We want to give you this opportunity to recognize those that work hard and dedicate their time to help support individuals with developmental disabilities.
