Good Morning,

You and/or your staff may be interested in attending the 17th Annual NADD State of Ohio IDD/MI Conference on September 23th and 24th. OPRA has been a long-time supporter of the Conference.

The Conference is meant to educate attendees on:

• How to use a biographical timeline in reflecting upon the needs of people with multiple diagnoses and challenging behaviors

• Various program models used in supporting people with IDD/MI

• How IDD/MI dual diagnosis best practices can be applied to all members of a persons support team

• Examples of various strength-based approaches in treatment

• Reflect on the lessons learned by people receiving treatment

• Articulate systemic barriers and challenges in meeting the needs of people with complex behaviors

• Identify IDD/MI treatment approaches reflecting collaboration

See attached brochure for additional information. You can register online here.

You can learn more about The NADD and the work they do here.

Have a great day,

Christine
