“For SL, as most of you may know it is remotely managed and staffed by quite a few staff over many shifts in order to meet patterns expected which can create problems with attendance monitoring with so
many plates spinning. Can anyone share their attendance policy and how they manage the complexities of having so many shifts/ staff to manage this issue to make sure it is a consistent practice while being realistic in its management as well? We obviously
cannot afford to lose so many staff we cannot meet health and safety needs, we want to be lenient enough to be understanding of life’s complexities, yet want to also have something that is structured well enough to hold accountability for those that are truly
abusing the system and risk quality of service. Thoughts?”
