Good morning,
Please share the below email with your networks, including county boards, non-profit housing corporations, other non-profits, etc. You will find a link within this email to a new HUD memo titled” Partnership Opportunities for CDBG Grantees.” In this memo, HUD offers guidance around the importance of local-level partnership and the importance of leveraging resources to achieve the CDBG program’s objectives related to “decent housing, suitable living environments and expanded economic opportunity.” This memo specifically identifies resources or tools(CPD Notices, etc.) to further partnership efforts (see top of page 2).
As demonstrated by the Mainstream Voucher NOFA that HUD recently published, public/private cooperation and partnership is playing an increasingly important role in access to housing and other funding. Participating in community planning is equally important.
