Hello Everyone,
I hope you are well.
I have a few OPRA Team Updates to share with you:
- We are excited to announce the addition of Scott Marks, MSW to the OPRA Team. Scott is joining us from the Ohio Association of County Boards. Over the last several years, Scott has been instrumental in
assisting both providers and county boards. He will be the Director of Operations and focus on our communication strategies, special projects and supporting our team to meet our mission. Please see the attached document for more details about Scott. His
first day is on September 3rd, 2019.
- We are working to better understand the needs of all of our diverse membership and how we can best support you. In order to achieve this I asked Lisa Mathis, Ph.D., to be the Director of Provider Resources.
Lisa will be working with all of you to identify and organize your needs, offer technical assistance and develop strategies on how we can support you into the future.
- Due to the efforts of the OPRA Staff, Than Johnson, Mike Toman and many of you we experienced a successful budget season. We are already working to identify our priorities for the next biennium budget.
Christine Touvelle, MLS, will play a lead role in organizing our legislative and policy efforts and developing our legislative strategies.
- Anita Allen will be taking some time over the next few weeks. If you have questions about ICFs or other issues that you would typically address with Anita please contact Lisa Mathis (lmathis@opra.org)
