I just want to share this with you to
ask if you can help spread the word about our exciting training opportunity that is a part of our APSI Institute training series. We think provider staff may really like it.
This new training is APSI Institute: Guardianship in the Gray Areas - Navigating the Guardian's Role, Limitations, & Performance When Serving Complex Needs.
The training will be on September 12, 2019 at Xenos in Columbus.
The training is intended for professionals, families, advocates, and other guardians. Our presenters include Kristen Henry (APSI Executive Director), Derek Graham (attorney), Kathy Phillips (provider), Heidi Davidson (DODD OSSAS unit), Kristy Stepp (Project
Stir), and Kerstin Sjoberg (Disability Rights Ohio).
This training will offer strategies for collaboration among team members, as well as alternative ways to support the specific needs of
individuals.
The training is approved for DODD CEUs 4 hours for service and support administration. We also have an application pending for social work
CEUs.
